CPC COURSES

Courses are in the form of modular training; this consists of two three and a half hour modules in one seven-hour lesson. Having this style of lessons or modules means we can mix and match modules to suit your requirements.

For example, I could train on one module on Vehicle First Use Checks & Defensive and Courteous Driving or Fuel Efficient Driving & Countering Vehicles as Weapons.

  • All 3.5 hour modules, generally paired as shown
  • All for 20 delegates (total 6 x 3.5 hour modules)

  • *For LGV only, these courses CAN NOT be mixed with PSV. I will run Modules 1 & 5 together.


   Stand Alone 7 Hour Modules:

  • Drivers' Hours, Working Time (RTD) Directive & Digital Tachographs.
  • The Compliant Driver.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

 

CPC Driver Compliance

 

 Please Note – Candidates - you must bring one of the following with you to confirm your identity.


·     a photocard driving licence.

·     a valid passport, Driving Licence number must be known.

·     a digital tachograph card.

·     a driver qualification card (DQC)


 You must ensure that any driver attending the course complies with the rest requirements laid down in Drivers’ Hours   Regulations and the Working Time   Directive.


 To book on an Open Course, please email – kingfishercpc@gmail.com or telephone 07970205349. When booking, please let us have the date of the course   you wish to attend, your name for the Certificate and your driving licence number. A confirmation email will be sent to you with an invoice for payment by bank   transfer, payment over the   phone by debit or credit card, together with a copy of our Privacy Notice and Joining Instructions. In the case of cancellation, where   possible, we will endeavour to transfer you to another date. 


 To book an In-House Course, please contact us to discuss dates required. A deposit of £200.00 per course booked is required to hold the date for you.  You will   be invoiced for the balance once the course is completed. In the case of cancellation, where possible, we will endeavour to transfer you to another date. If you   fully cancel your booking the deposit is non-refundable.

 

 Your booking confirmation and joining instructions will be sent to you by email. If you do not receive these within 3 days of the course, please contact us so that   we may re-send the information to you.


 If it becomes necessary for us to make any changes to the agreed course, Kingfisher CPC will contact you to discuss requirements. In the unlikely event that it   becomes necessary for us to cancel a course, we will contact you immediately to re-arrange.

 

 Anyone booking and failing to attend will forfeit the entire, 100%, course fee, anyone giving less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit 50% of the course fee, anyone   giving between 2 & 5 days will forfeit 25% of the course fee. Anything more than 5 days’ notice we will refund the full amount.


 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that course notes, presentations or tuition materials are accurate, Kingfisher CPC does not accept responsibility for any   errors or omissions.


 Candidates who are considered to be under the influence of drink or drugs, or act in a disruptive manner will have their course terminated with immediate effect   and all course fees will be forfeited.


 All candidates attending Kingfisher CPC courses are required to adhere to any notices, instructions and/or Health and Safety information given to them by   Kingfisher CPC instructors. Kingfisher CPC does not accept responsibility for personal belongings or vehicles left on the course venue premises.


 If, for any reason, you are unable to complete the full 7 hours of training then your details cannot be uploaded to the DVSA Database.
